He graciously said yes
His style is amazing. Very well suited to 3D - I would love to model everything he's ever drawn.
Finally, I am getting around to posting it. Modeled over the course of 3 months. Probably the longest I've spent on a 3d model - but I learned so much.
Modeling = 3ds Max 2012.
Texturing = Mudbox 2012.
Rendering = mental ray.
Postwork = Photoshop.
